Acne

I have been noticing more pimples on my face than usual, I wanted to know if there was a safe and easy way to remove it. I already have a skin care routine that I do of a night but it doesn’t seem to be doing much. Any tips?

    Hey girl!

    Ah, pimples = the worst!

    Although we all HATE waking up & seeing unwanted, red spots on our face, it’s SO normal to experience pimples during puberty & when you’re about to get your period! This is due to a number of hormonal changes going on in our bodies, causing an increase in oil production.

    Some tips that generally help me combat hormonal breakouts are;
    – Filling my plate with fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains & avoiding too much sugar. This will make a huge difference to your skin!
    – Taking regular showers – but remember to not scrub your face TOO hard, as this can irritate the skin even more!
    – Getting those ZZZ’s & changing my pillow frequently to avoid bacteria being left on the skin
    – Keep up with a skincare routine & always remember to let your skin breathe! You’ve got this one covered already!

    Let me know how you go, Willow. Try not to stress about it too much. Gem x
