Puberty is a time where there are some BIG changes happening in our bodies. It can take 6 months to a year for your periods to become more regular & consistent from when you first get your period. It’s TOTALLY normal that your period was light this cycle, and that doesn’t necessarily mean your period will come earlier or will be heavier on your next. While your body gets used to its regular monthly flow, it’s not unusual for your period to be irregular, light, or only last a few days.

I find it really helpful to track my period using an app, as it gives me an idea of when to expect my next period and keep track of my cycle. I recommend Flo Period! To get all the details about managing your period, read our ‘Period 101 blog’.

Just remember, our period cycles are unique, just like us!
