Hi I’m 12 i haven’t had my period yet either. I get what you mean, because 2 of my friends have gotten it too. Don’t worry, your period will come in its own time. Don’t feel left out or anything, it’s normal. Hope this helps

    Hi Willo,

I know it can be hard sometimes but try not to compare yourself to your friends! Puberty plays by no rules & your period will come simply when the time is right for your body.

It’s absolutely fine! Girls get their first period between the ages of 8-15, you you don’t need to worry! Although, if you haven’t got your first period by the time your 16, go see a doctor right away to make sure everything is a-okay.

hey… omg i have been there! I was around 12 (like year 8) at my school and 1 by one my friends all started getting there period, I was on the skinnier side, than my friends and was told that it might have something to do with my weight, but i wasn’t that skinner compared to them, anyways, thoughts would come to my mind like oh no there must be something wrong with me… trust me there isn’t… i cried one night and I remember this clear as mud, i started crying and mum started cracking up like “chloe, you are gonna look back and wish you enjoyed this time.” once you get your period.. THERE’S NO TURNING BACK!!! you are then from that point, a woman, with responsibilities every single fricking moth to care about whats going on down there, and it is a hassle i say! but is also such a wonderful event in our lives.

    xx Chloe
