I seem to be leaking urine – eek!

Ah yes, the joys of pregnancy don’t stop at a glowing completion! But don’t stress, a little pee leakage is total normal.

Little leaks during pregnancy are caused due to the stress the extra weight is putting on your pelvic floor muscles, that is, the sling of muscle that runs from your public bone to your tail bone and supports your bladder, uterus and colon.

Bad news is, if the muscle was weak to begin with, this adds to the problem and your ability to keep your bladder closed, especially when you cough, sneeze or laugh. But the GOOD news is that you can do something about it! With some Pelvic Floor Exercises you can improve and even fix the problem. Our sister brand TENA has even developed a handy Pelvic Floor App called ‘My PFF’ which you can download from the app store.

In the meantime our Libra Dry Liners are designed for light bladder leakage. They quickly lock away fluid, removing odours, keeping you fresh and feeling confident.

Love, Libra x
