Each absorbency also has a different number of layers which will alter how long you can wear your period underwear, depending on your blood flow and preferences. Our light period underwear features three layers to keep you dry and leak-free. A mesh layer to lock in odour and moisture, a leak-resistant layer to absorb any flow and a breathable barrier layer that keeps you extra dry. For those who want a little extra protection, our moderate absorbency underwear have an extra wicking layer and our heavy period undies range features two absorbency layers. Whatever your go-to style, you’ll always be protected!

Libra’s light absorbency period undies hold up to 2 tampons’ worth of menstrual fluid and can be worn for up to 12 hours depending on your flow. They’re perfect for heavy discharge, sweaty workouts or that light flow kind of day. These are our go-to for the days leading into a period, or the days leading out.

Our highest absorbency period undies hold up to 5 tampons’ worth of menstrual fluid. Our heavy flow period underwear can be worn for up to 12 hours before changing depending on your flow.
 
These are perfect for overnight protection (goodbye bed linen stains), people with endometriosis or PCOS, or those experiencing postpartum bleeding. Our go-to for any heavy flow!
 
Whilst absorbency is important, we never sacrifice style! Libra’s heavy absorbency period underwear come in two styles.

2. Full Brief underwear is shaped in a classic full brief cut with a wide waistband, making this pair of period undies are ideal for overnight peace of mind or if you’re working up a sweat on your heavier-flow days. Can you wear your period undies alone? 

The short answer is, yes! You can definitely use period underwear alone, but all bodies are different, and all flows vary from light to heavy. So only you can decide how long you want to wear your period underwear for and if you want to use it alone or in a combination with another product. The period undies have a very high absorbency, they can hold up to 2, 4 or 5 tampons’ worth of fluid. So, no matter your personal preference, we’ve got you covered.
